Bill has more than 27 years of experience in the Financial Advisory, Planning, and Asset Management business.
He was drawn to Whitney & Company in part because the firm’s business model as an RIA, whose independence and non-product bias brings significant benefits to clients. Bill also relates to the firm’s deep sense of responsibility to clients—he relishes getting to know every facet of their lives and being there for them in their moments of greatest need. Bill also enjoys staying connected to his clients on a more personal level, offering them context and insight that puts their minds at ease, especially during times of challenging markets.
Before joining Whitney & Company in 2008, Bill was a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors and Director of Retirement Planning and Design with the Angelo Planning Group. He earned his BA in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from St. Michaels College in Vermont.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys golf, landscaping, and has had a 55 year passion with all forms of racing at Watkins Glen International, attending events with his brothers. He currently serves on the Webster, N.Y., School District Budget Advisory Committee.
He and his wife of 38 years, Maria, have three daughters.
